Sakurao Japanese Whisky Single Cask #7460 is matured for 4 years in the warehouse in Sakurao, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, where the Seto Inland Sea to the south and the Chugoku Mountains to the north rise above the city. The original spirit, made with heavy peated malt, is aged in bourbon casks before being transferred to rum casks for finishing. Aromas of vanilla, honey, dark rum, and grapefruit. In the mouth, the rich sweetness of brown sugar expands, and the bitterness that sharpens the sweetness, the fruitiness of peat, lychee, and grapefruit, and the floral aroma lingers deep and long.
