The rose designed by Japanese artist Léonard Foujita in 1958, which originally embellished the neck of the bottle, delighted guests when it was first presented at the 1958 Cannes Festival. Like an ornamental seal guaranteeing the authenticity of the cuvée,it is still present on the cap of the bottle.Like G.H.MUMM Cordon Rouge, the blend includes 12% to 14% still red wine. Complex and well defined, the remaining blend is dominated by Pinot Noir, the House’s emblematic grape variety bringing strength and character. It is rounded off by the fruitiness, balance and liveliness of Pinot Meunier to reveal the full subtlety and elegance of Chardonnay.
