"RARE CASK" is made from grapes harvested only in Kobe area and aged for more than 20 years in Limousin oak cask in Kobe Winery. Then additionally aged for 7 months in Sherry cask.
Production method is same as distillation of Cognac, where brandy originated, i.e. Alambic charentais heated on open flame and two steps of distillation is necessary to purify completely.
Fifteen bottles of Chardonnay wine is lavishly used to produce just one bottle of "RARE CASK", therefor only a hundred bottles of "RARE CASK" are available.
Aging in two different casks for much longer period enhances rich but mellow taste and flavourful scent.
