It was brewed at Suntory Shiojiri Winery using grapes grown in Shiojiri, where the cool climate, temperature difference between day and night, and well-drained soli allow for the cultivation of concentrated grapes. By "splicing" Merlot, a European variety that we have worked with local growers to improve its quality, with Muscat Bailey A, a variety unique to Japan, we have created a multi-layered aroma.
