Founded in 1952, the distillery in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, was reborn in 2017 as the "Saburoumaru Distillery." It continues to operate as a Japanese craft distillery dedicated to sharing the charm of whisky from Toyama. Under the banner of "The Ultimate Peat," the distillery is committed to producing traditionally crafted smoky whisky and continues to evolve every day.
This product was distilled using "ZEMON," the world’s first cast pot still introduced in 2019. It offers a rich, multi-layered flavor with a powerful smoky profile beautifully integrated with sherry cask nuances.
