Bursting with sweetness, sizzling spice and rich fruity notes, this whisky is inspired by the island of Madeira’s grape harvest festival, known as “Vindima”. When the island’s grapes are ripe, the community unites to handpick the fruit, destined for Madeira wine. Once their work is done, the streets erupt with joyous celebrations. Aged 16 years, The Vindima marries whisky aged in bourbon casks and whisky finished in Malmsey casks – the sweetest style of Madeira. The deep purple tones of its packaging are inspired by the tones of ripened grapes.

Nose: Rich, mellow and honeyed, with soft notes of baked peaches and oranges, cocoa powder, creamy vanilla, along with some beautifully perfumed floral notes such as honeysuckle, jasmine and carnation. A little water opens up a hint of Glenmorangie’s signature mandarin orange.
Taste: A viscous, syrupy texture leads into sumptuous flavours of candied orange peel, plump sultanas and milk-chocolate truffles, along with a hint of aniseed, and sizzling spices, like cinnamon, sweet chilli and clove.
Finish: Long, with some vinous grapey notes
