The grapes (40% Semillon and 60% Sauvignon Blanc) were hand-picked and vinified separately in 50% new oak and 25% second fill and 25% third and fourth fill French oak barrels. The wine matured on its lees for 10 months before bottling then aged in bottle for another 12 months before released. This wine encompasses an array of ripe tropical fruit with hints of orange zest, lemon, and lime. Aging in 500L French oak barrels adds a touch of honey and toasted almonds to the nose. The palate is fresh and elegant with a beautiful intensity that shows great aging potential.
