A deeply complex and intense expression of Ballantine's 30 years old, expertly crafted by our Master Blender. For the 2019 Cask Edition release, our Master Blender has hand-selected some of our rarest and oldest whiskies, blended at cask strenght to give an even more in-depth flavour experience. Combined with the higher strength, this year's release comes with an additional layer of floral and herbal notes, which perfectly balances with aromas of poached pear, an iconic flavour of Ballantine's 30 Years Old.
Nose: Rich with notes of stewed fruits namley plums, aromatic scented floral (gorse flower) followed by toasted almonds and warm cedar
Taste: Sweet and spicy with flavors of soft liquorice and dark chocolate stem ginger intermingled with rasberry jam and a toauch of nutty oakiness
