100% Chardonnay The vineyard of this 1er Cru “Fourchaume” spreads from the village of Maligny to the village of Fontenay in the north of the vineyard. Here the climate is continental, with hot summers, very cold winters, with harsh spring frosts. The soils are limestone marls and contain many marine fossils, which give this Chablis wine a good minerality and sharpness. Manual harvesting with grape sorting before the vinification. Traditional winemaking and maturation in oak barrels during 6 months. Beautiful gold robe. White flower aromas (acacia, hawthorns), with citrus fruit notes and mineral undertones.
