Founded in 1772, Veuve Clicquot has since lived by its motto, "Only one quality, the finest". Cuvée Saint Petersbourg is based on the Yellow Label blend, with the addition of a special dosage liqueur and a longer ageing, both unveiling distinctive mature aromas such as toastiness & candied fruits. The predominance of Pinot Noir provides the structure that is so typically Clicquot, while a touch of Meunier rounds out the blend. Chardonnay adds the elegance and finesse. On the nose: ripe & dried fruits, spices and pastries, with a floral touch. On the palate: toasted notes, gingerbread & honey.
